Get To Know Us

Hands-on experience gives you the knowledge and skills you need to advance

Are you eager to excel in your banking career? First American Bank's Rotational Training Program can help you do just that. Over the course of 9 to 12 months, you'll spend time in various departments and build a solid foundation of banking skills. Your progress through these rotations will be managed by a member of our training and development staff, and a team of experienced professionals will mentor you throughout the process and help you determine your best career path within the bank.

  • Teller: The Teller window is the front line of the bank, and this rotation teaches the basics of customer transactions. You'll learn how to refer customers to other bank departments, vault management, ATM maintenance, and navigating customer portfolios.
  • New Accounts: In this rotation, trainees develop a command of bank products and the ability to target products to fit specific customer needs. You'll learn how to evaluate customer accounts, make sound financial decisions and even get a taste of basic elements of branch management.
  • Customer Service: This stage offers real-life experience in providing customer service over the phone and resolving inquiries. You'll develop communication skills, become more familiar with bank computer systems and fine-tune your ability to navigate all of our resources.
